What is new in each release of resaw for iPhone, newest first. resaw imports your Instagram saved posts and sorts them into folders on its own. Get it on the App Store.
v1.4.4 (build 28)
September 2026
All saves. Open your whole vault from Home, search across everything you have ever saved (not just what is loaded on screen), and filter by save type.
Undo. Delete something by mistake and a toast at the bottom lets you bring it right back.
Onboarding now ends by asking if you want to import your saves, and takes you straight into it after you sign in.
Sharing a link from Safari or another app confirms with a quick toast instead of a popup, with an Open button to jump to it.
Menus (Options, Share, the Home add button) now open as native bottom sheets.
Bigger tap targets, clearer contrast, and VoiceOver labels throughout the app.
Text fields no longer sit behind the keyboard when editing a title or searching a folder to move something into.
Fixed: cook-along could get stuck "Building your cook-along" forever if a run stalled. It now recovers on its own.
Fixed: re-analyzing an item could report "Retry failed" even when it was still working in the background.
Fixed: tapping a filter chip on the Map could freeze the app if a save was missing its location.
v1.4.3 (build 26)
September 4, 2026
Vault Chat answers now stream in as they are written, with citation cards showing the saved item's thumbnail and a link back to it.
Search now looks across your entire vault, not only the saves currently loaded on screen.
Chat and search run from a server closer to where your data lives, for faster answers.
Folders can now hold sub-folders, up to two levels deep.
A clearer, two-step entrance for bringing in your Instagram export.
v1.4.2 (build 25)
August 31, 2026
Import the .zip Instagram sends you, as is. Pick the export file straight from your downloads. No unzipping, no hunting for saved_posts.html inside it.
Fixed: a large import could say "Import failed" while it was actually still working, and finish fine a minute later. The app now waits as long as the import really takes.
Fixed: organizing a big hoard into folders no longer times out and reports a failure after the items have already landed.
If your export holds more than 5,000 saves, resaw brings in the 5,000 most recent and now tells you how many are waiting, instead of quietly leaving the rest out.
Backing out of the file picker is no longer treated as a failed import.
Trimmed a repeated screen from the first-run walkthrough.
v1.4.1 (build 24)
August 25, 2026
New first-run walkthrough. Real screenshots and clips of the app, showing how a save moves from Instagram or the share sheet into your vault, folders, cook-along, map and Vault Chat.
Cook-along and Counter mode, side by side. Cook-along plays the original clip alongside the steps and now sets a timer automatically when a step mentions one. Counter mode is the big-card, hands-free glass view for iOS 26. Switch between them anytime.
Analyzing a save or building a cook-along now shows a real progress bar instead of a spinner, so you can see it moving.
Fixed: Cook-along could show "Couldn't build your cook-along" and then load anyway a few seconds later. It was never failing, just slow to report back; that no longer happens.
Fixed: Spectrum folder colors now shade a single color you pick, instead of cycling through unrelated hues, and match everywhere folders show up (Home, Map, Ask).
Fixed: saves brought in from your Instagram export now keep their original save date, not the date they were imported.
v1.4.0 (build 23)
August 23, 2026
resaw is live on the App Store. First public release: free, for iPhone running iOS 17 or later. Download resaw on the App Store.
Subscription wording in Settings corrected for launch.
No other changes from v1.4 (build 21).
v1.4 (build 21)
